Our Commitment To Our Clients

As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread across Canada and in our communities, Avenir IT will be taking the following steps effective Wednesday, March 18th to limit the spread of the virus within our organization and our clients:

Limit on-site visits
We will be limiting our on-site visits to only organization critical issues. We will be depending much more heavily on remote and phone support. This means that we may ask you to do a little more troubleshooting over the phone such as rebooting devices, etc.

Extended support hours
We are going to be extending our support hours from 5PM to 7PM to resolve any non-critical on-site issues while limiting human contact to only a primary contact and our technician.

Limited in office staff
We will only have 2 or 3 people working from the Avenir IT offices with the remainder of the staff working from home. We don’t anticipate any changes in how our team can be reached or response times.

Other precautions
Our technicians will be required to wear medical grade gloves while interacting with any computers not belonging to them.

Please be aware that we anticipate a larger number of requests in the coming weeks. We are all hands-on deck to ensure that everyone is well taken care of during this trying time. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will update you as necessary. Since this issue is very fluid, we will operate based on what federal, provincial and local guidelines dictate. That said, Avenir IT is committed to our partnership and will respond as quickly as we can to all inquiries and changes.
